Surf 8 Christians is involved in the community with various programs and events. We believe in giving to the community where we can. All of our community programs are free to the public.
Prayer Sessions with Bible Study: Prayer sessions with Bible study are provided throughout the year. This program is open to the public.
Beach Cleanups: Beach cleanups are offered throughout the year. This program is open to the public.
Community Outreach: Bibles, bookmarks, stickers, and more are provided at various events. These items are offered for free to individuals.
Salvation Gift Bags: For any person who receives Jesus with our outreach, we offer a Salvation Gift Bag which includes various items including a Holy Bible. This gift bag is free to the recipient.
Baptism Gift Bags: For any person who is baptized during our outreach, we offer a Baptism Gift Bag which includes various items. This gift bag is free to the recipient.
Coffee & Community: Throughout the year, Surf 8 Christians hosts Coffee & Community social events.
Community Christmas Events: Surfs 8 Christians hosts Christmas parties with food, coffee, cocoa, and fun for the whole family. It’s all about Jesus!
Social Gatherings: Surf 8 Christians hosts various social gatherings for different holidays or just to get people together. For example, we had a “Love Your Neighbor” social in February for the Valentine’s Day theme.
Volunteer Hours for High School Students: Volunteer hours are provided to high school students who participate in community cleanups or eligible events. Volunteer hours are required for any Florida high school student seeking the Florida Bright Futures Scholarships.
Other Community Events: Surf 8 Christians participates in various community events such as the National Kidney Foundation Surf Festival and Lighthouse Christian Church Fall Flea Market.
Books and More: Surf 8 Christians has an online ecommerce store and book publishing department. All proceeds from these operations help fund our programs.
Grants: We provide grants and donations to other nonprofit organizations as a private foundation.
